Gluten Free Means 100% No Gluten. California Pizza Kitchen's Cross Contamination Is Harming People!















PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT:


The gluten-free diet was created for people with an auto immune digestive disease called Celiac Disease.  There is a major epidemic going on right now that can be summarized into two main issues for our gluten-free community to understand:

  1. Restaurants who claim to be gluten-free and are not
  2. People who eat gluten but say they're gluten-free

I'm not sure what the problem is with people in this world... Black is black and white is white.  When food has gluten in it or is contaminated in a kitchen... it's not gluten-free anymore. Period. Simple. A child can explain this to you.

California Pizza Kitchen, a large pizza chain has no idea how serious Celiac Disease is and doesn't quite respect the gluten-free diet.  It has to stop claiming their products to be gluten-free immediately. Read how inconsiderate and naive they portray themselves to be here.


As a restaurant and/or manufacturer of gluten-free products your putting the risk of your business at line when you claim you can cater to gluten-free. Take it 100% serious or don't offer gluten-free foods at all!  Whether you admit it or not you're poisoning people in the world and that needs to stop now.


Also, people, when someone eats gluten but they say they're gluten-free please know that you're ruining the gluten-free movement and you're confusing common people who don't know the difference.


Spread the word and do not support companies, restaurants, products and educate people who don't have diagnosed Celiac Disease to be careful what they eat and what they say. The health/lives of Celiacs are at risk.  Read the article about California Pizza Kitchen here and learn more.
