Gluten Free & Allergen Free Expo NJ Is Coming!

Healthy shoppers, do you live in these areas?

New York City
North New Jersey
PHILADELPHIA
If you're local in the tri-state area on October 3rd or 4th, you're invited to attend the largest gluten free and allergen friendly expo! It's an event to explore and set yourself free! I've gone a few years now and it's definitely worth it. You'll meet new brands and see/sample their new products, meet likeminded people, and bump into some strangers who could be your new best friend.

Gluten Free Questions For Brands:

  • Are your products gluten free safe for those with Celiac Disease?
  • Are your products gluten free safe according to the FDA Guidelines of 2014?
  • Do you manufacture products in a gluten free facility?
  • Do you test all products for gluten ppm, each batch, what level ppm?
  • Has anyone reported getting sick from eating your gluten free products?

Remember, to be gluten free and allergen free you have to prove it. Everyone's health is everyone's priority as we look out for each other at these shows and in the community. Do yourself a favor and grab some family members and friends and join us at the Gluten Free & Allergen Free Expo in Secaucus, NJ on Saturday and Sunday, October 3rd and 4th.

Is Cheerios Gluten Free Safe?

It doesn't appear that they are consistently safe for everyone. Hence, not gluten free for those with Celiac Disease is my understanding. Cheerios is not yet a proven safe gluten free food for those with Celiac Disease or any other gluten related illness so ask questions! They only provide food for those on a "reduced gluten free diet", not a health concerning gluten free lifestyle and therefore this is a risk to be watched. It's important to know that no certifying 3rd party or the FDA have approved Cheerios. Their parent company, General Mills, has their own method of separating their oats, but they're contaminated with gluten in the fields. General Mills also supports GMOs (genetically modified organisms) and we our healthy community doesn't. Therefore, these signs are a red flag to stay away from their food since the company has untrusted and unsafe food messages.
