Svelte Protein Shake Gluten Free Product Review
The idea of a ready to drink, grab and go organic, vegan, Kosher, gluten free and dairy free protein shake is too good to be true. No actually it's not... But this combination is hard to find. Secondly, some shakes just taste horrible and you have to convince yourself to drink them. C'mon they are not great even when you make them yourself, you kind of talk yourself into it usually. I don't mean yours are bad, but just that they're not amazeballs. Also shakes and smoothies often can be expensive, or the ultimate combination for your lifestyle is too tough to match. If you dig soy milks (nonGMO of course) then Svelte USDA organic shakes should be on your new short list of options.

Sweet Note Bagels Gluten Free Product Review
All gluten-free bagels were not created equal. Texture, aroma, taste, and healthy ingredients should be the recipe for every food and beverage you eat. Recently, at a food expo in California, I met Michelle and Brittany from Sweet Note Bakery, lucky me! Michelle is a Philadelphia baker with the dream of bringing NY style gluten-free safe bagels to the free world everywhere. She reminded me that I should raise my expectations and consider a tastier NY style gluten free, fantastic bagel that I never had before (Made in a dedicated GF facility) ... All while being gluten free, soy free, dairy free, egg free, peanut and tree nut free and NON GMO. I was happily intrigued.

EZ Gluten Test Kit Product Review
How Can I Know For Sure
If Food & Beverages Are Gluten-Free?
If you haven't used the EZ Gluten Test Kit before then it's time pick up a few kits for the holidays for you or someone you truly care about. Whether you have Celiac Disease, gluten intolerance or another form of sensitivity to gluten proteins, Elisa Technologies offer kits for you to test food and beverages quickly and efficiently via a test strip. Most of us know not to take risks, but every once in a while I hear about people taking way too many risks, so now in less than 10 minutes you can check that food sample, finally! I tried it and I'll share with you my results. These EZ Gluten™ Test are extremely simple kit that in less than ten minutes will detect the presence of gluten proteins in foods and beverages. It is sensitive enough to detect levels of gluten as low as 10 ppm (which is 2x better than the FDA guidelines). As you can see in my example here, the test kit is small and portable enough for at home, going to friends, or family, heading to a restaurant or whenever you need to know if a food could have gluten contamination, and avoid it!

Gatherer's Granola Gluten-Free Product Review
Here's my Gatherer's Granola observations: It's obvious, they have better granola ingredients and taste to take you through your day and adventures ahead. Inspired by the cute fuzzy animals out there who gather, burrow, and even scavenge day-to-day to get by, this concept of "gathering" has been birthed by Sandro Gerbini (jazz musician) out of Schenectady, NY.

Cluck 'n Moo Burgers
Can you guess what it is inside? Hahaha, isn't it time to step up your burger nutrition, on all counts, starting with reducing your red meat? Why would you eat a burger that only has beef, or only has turkey when you can have them all in one!? The Cluck 'n Moo Burger concept is unique and I find it awesome. It's a righteous combination of our favorite burger protein ingredients, beef or a poultry option and they have a product that adds kale as well, which I often add to just about everything to get those healthy leafy greens present in my diet more and more.Friday, November 28, 2014

Celivites Gluten-Free Product Review
Today, let's chat about vitamins and supplements. It's challenging to find a legit gluten-free supplement that is gluten-free verified. In addition, supplements are debatable on their absorption value as people should eat smarter via food education, especially when being diagnosed with Celiac Disease or any other auto-immune or food related intolerance. Nevertheless, I've found a product that speaks to our targeted, yet diverse gluten-free health community, with a balanced and well absorbed supplement that can help you!

Nona Lim Gluten-Free Product Review
Hello, Nona Lim!
Delicious, fresh and convenient for home
If you're seeking a delicious fall and winter filling meal to warm you up for lunch and/or for dinner, Nona Lim artisan food products should be added to your shopping list. I loved them and they're all very consistent. With deep roots of Singaporean influence, these products are made from scratch and in small batches. Over 90 percent of the vegetables including many organic, are sourced locally nearby their home base of Oakland, California. In fact, all soups, broth and noodles are certified gluten-free, non Gmo verified, dairy free, and some are vegan, without the use of additives or preservatives, commonly found in other products eaten today. Their products do contain soy. Delicious, fresh and convenient for home

Our True Roots Tiger Nuts Gluten-Free Product Review
PreBiotic Resistant Starch
No Grain No Gluten No Nuts
Vegan Organic Non GMO
Introducing Tiger Nuts from Our True Roots
What the heck are tiger nuts? Well they're not a nut first of all. I met a brand, Our True Roots, at a gluten free and allergen free consumer show and fell in love with Tiger Nuts immediately. Tiger Nuts are a vegetable, in fact they're super nutrient dense tubers that grow under ground, like most awesome super foods. Traces of Tiger nuts are over 4,000 years old and some sources say 4 million years old when our Paleo ancestors consumed Tiger Nuts as most of their diet. In fact, Tiger Nuts are led to be one of the inspirations from foraging to modern day farming...
